Refund & Cancellation
1. Scope
This policy applies to tuition for Swett Digital courses and workshops purchased directly from us. Third-party exam or ad platform fees are non-refundable through Swett Digital.
2. Cooling-Off Period
For distance contracts under Korean consumer protection rules, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase without reason if the course has not started and digital materials have not been substantially accessed. Notify [email protected] in writing.
3. Full Refund Conditions
Full refund applies when: (a) we cancel a cohort; (b) you cancel within the cooling-off period meeting section 2; (c) technical failure on our side prevents access for more than 72 consecutive hours after start.
4. Partial Refund
If you withdraw after materials access or within 7 days before cohort start, we may refund tuition minus an administrative fee of 15% and any consumed module costs disclosed at enrollment.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Completed workshop days, issued certificates, downloaded custom team cases, and third-party registration fees are non-refundable. Self-paced courses after 25% progress are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Refund Process
Email [email protected] with enrollment ID and reason. Approved refunds process within 14 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers may require additional verification.
7. Cancellations by Participant
You may request one cohort date transfer if made 14+ days before start, subject to availability. Late cancellations forfeit deposit portions stated on your invoice.
8. Exceptions and Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under the Korean Framework Act on Consumers or the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Disputes may be referred to consumer mediation bodies in Korea.
